It’s already been a whole week since my best friend Pamela got married, almost a week to the exact moment that we were getting ready to walk down the aisle. It all goes by so fast, I think we should do it all over again… it was that much fun! I didn’t get to take as many photos as I wanted because it was quite the busy day, but Brooke managed to grab my camera for some shots at the rehearsal that I couldn’t help post. We had the groom’s dinner on the Thursday night before the wedding, which was the BEST idea, people got to enjoy themselves and really relax. Billy’s parents put on an amazing pig roast, with a huge pig… poor babe, but it was really good, I’ve never seen a real life pig roast before! Scott was quite the chef, how do you even know how to do something like that??? 🙂
Saturday the 12th, the wedding festivities began! Their wedding and reception were at Oak Ridge out in Chaska, it was a fabulous venue and the weather held out.. THANK GOODNESS! Their wedding day felt like an episode out of Friends, which is completely fitting since we are all positively obsessed with that show. Billy’s best friend Greg officiated the wedding, I couldn’t have imagined it any other way… there weren’t many dry eyes in the house after the things he said about Billy and Pam. It was beautiful! After the ceremony, the bridal party ran to the other side of the building to do some quick fun picture with Kelly, as we were doing a group jumping shot all you hear is this big “RIPPPP”… Greg jumped so high and attempted to do the splits that he ripped his pants straight down the middle. I mean, you just can’t make that stuff up! We finally made out way into the dinner, dancing our way through to “I Gotta Feeling” by The Black Eyed Peas. I couldn’t eat I was so nervous for my speech, Courtney and I just kept looking at each other being like can we do them now? Is it time? Well… Courtney gave her fabulous speech, which made me even me nervous, oh man I have to follow that? I stood up, began speaking… and well of course started crying.. big ol’ blubbering Ashley tried to make it through the rest of the speech without crying… well psh that didn’t happen. It was literally a friends moment as a squeaked my way through the last little bit. BUT.. I did it 🙂 The rest of the night was spent on the dance floor or in the photobooth! It could not have been a more perfect wedding for Pamela and Billy, I’m so honored to have been a part of it. I love you both so very much, so here are just a couple of pictures from the days… like I said, I didn’t have my camera out too much, surprisingly 🙂
