One of my brother’s best friends Matthew is doing tremendous things out in Boulder, Colorado where he is attending the University of Colorado – Boulder. He is heading up a team for Relay for Life called The Sundance Kids. I could not be more honored and proud of what he’s doing to find a cure for Cancer and I know my brother would be so proud of him too!
Looking at these pictures reminds me how badly we need to find a cure so families don’t have to experience what we’ve had to. Head over to Matt’s fundraising page and donate if you can, my parents have offered to MATCH the donations Matt raises… so if he raises $1000, they’ll donate $1000. Which means we’re just that much closer to finding a cure for Cancer! 🙂

Last weekend I spent my afternoon with the P family celebrating Gavin’s 1st birthday with all of their friends and family. It was an AWESOME birthday party, Lindsay and Adam left no detail out; the food, drinks, presents and LOTS of guests. We did a few pictures of just Gavin before all the guests arrived and I swear I could have photographed him for HOURS. His smile is infectious and those eyes, oh boy look out girls… we’ve got another heartbreaker 🙂
A little risky business action before the PARTY
Gavin’s aunt and uncle who came all the way from Milwaukee for his birthday party!
The gorgeous P Family
Thanks for having me over Lindsay, Adam and Gavin! It was so great to meet you! 🙂
The first time in my life, I can look outside on Christmas and see TONS of fresh snow! It definitely is a white Christmas here in Minnesota, and I wouldn’t ask for it any other way. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, and be safe if you’re traveling about! 🙂
This is my brother’s favorite ornament on our tree… I wonder why 😉
One of the new things I’m so excited to offer in 2010 will be the addition of the CrazyBooth/Photobooth! It’s so much fun for weddings, family events, parties etc., something a little different! Here’s a little slideshow of Pam and Billy’s wedding 3 months ago, still can’t believe it was that long ago. When I was making this video it made me want to revert back to that day and do it all over again! 🙂 ENJOY!
I may be under the pile of photos being edited and Christmas cards getting out, but I’m here! I almost feel like I’m caught up, phew! 🙂 There are only a couple of sessions left for 2009, I’m still in awe of how fast this year went! I’m working on a few changes for 2010… prints, website, new blog etc. It’s going to be amazing when it’s all said and done! I can’t wait to show it to all of you!
I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, however you spend them… I will be finishing up my Christmas shopping this week and beginning the wrapping process! Sometime this week I will be posting the last booking special of 2009, so come back and see what it is 🙂 And because every post is better with a picture, here a few of some little ladies whom I love dearly!
1 year, 365 days, 52 weeks…. no matter how you say it, it’s gone by fast! I remember the text I got as soon as he arrived “Jackson Jude Stephens was born…” with all the details to follow! I was so excited, I stayed up until he was born and finally rested for a few hours. I made my way back to the hospital to meet the newest member of the Stephens family. There was a feeling in the room as you walked in…joy, relief, pure happiness. When I walked in I took one look at J turned to Pam and said “No bananas here.” (Banana was our code word for ugly baby, which she feared she would have, crazy girl). As you can see there are no bananas on this post! Jackson has grown up to be one of the cutest (yes I am extremely biased) boys ever! He’s walking, but prefer to crawl because he’s speedy as can be, love his mama and dada to pieces and chats up a storm! I miss them now that they live in Virginia but I’m so glad I got to spend the last 3 months with them, watching J grow up into quite the young man. Happy 1st Birthday Monkey! I love you so very much!
Before they headed back to Virginia, we had a 1st birthday party at Glamma and Cookie’s to spoil him with cake and presents. He looked adorable, of course! Here are just a couple from the night 🙂
The first summer I met Emma and Caiti was back in 2006…. Emma was only 4 years old!
This was after her first week in Kindergarten…
And now she’s a 2nd grader, growing up so fast… her 8th birthday is today and I can’t believe how much she’s changed 🙂 She’s become quite the little lady! Since I’ve been with the girls for the last 4 years, I’ve loved being able to watch them grow into the fabulous girls I know they are! Happy 8th Birthday Emma Grace!!!!!
