Sibling Session :)

Not only did I get to do a shoot with a newborn baby boy and a beautiful little girl yesterday but I got to end it with my GORGEOUS friend and her younger brother. G was such a good sport and I appreciate him putting up with my goofy ideas, like walking with your arms linked and his response “Nobody walks like this anymore.” He cracked me up! They were willing to even do a little climbing into the trees and walking through the mud! Thanks J & G for bearing the cold to do some pictures! Here’s a little of what we got yesterday!

Look out world, another adorable baby boy!

What a perfect end of the weekend! I started off the weekend doing a newborn session with my Godson and then got to end it with another adorable baby boy and his big sister. I forget how much fun 4 1/2 year olds are! We had our own little photo session while baby B was getting changed, she showed me how many different funny faces she could make. As you can see, she’s quite the entertainer.

Baby B is less than 2 weeks old and just perfect! Mom and Dad make some great looking kids! Once again I was stumped with a newborn session and trying to pick just a few to put up here, it’s so hard when they are so cute!

Newborn Baby Boy

So I’m a little biased because he’s my godson but this little 5 day old boy is beyond adorable. I got to spend most of the day with him and his amazing parents, and goodness it was hard to narrow down the pictures. They are all so great! Grandpa was pretty happy when baby J cried while wearing his Vikings outfit.. Grandpa is not a big fan of the Vikes! Here’s a little look for mommy and daddy, but hopefully they are finally getting some sleep tonight. Love you guys!

I’m a God Mama!!!

He’s here!!! Jackson Jude Stephens was born this morning at 3:55am after almost 22 hours of labor he decided to come out! His daddy made it just in time and mommy is doing fabulous! She looks amazing after just giving birth! I’m so proud of her! He weighed 8lbs 9oz, 21.5 inches long and a 14.5 inch head! He’s quite possibly the most handsome little man I’ve ever seen! Not to mention I’m so honored they asked me to be his god mother! Of course, I couldn’t help but tear up a little bit! I’m so excited to spoil this little boy to pieces! Now if only I could find a way to kidnap/adultnap them so they don’t have to go to Virginia. 🙂

Baby Boy!

Well I wake up this morning to find a text from my friend P (who I did her maternity shoot a ways down) saying “where are you woman?”. She has been in labor since 6 this morning and it still at home. Hopefully she will be heading to the hospital soon to have baby boy because everyone is so excited to meet him! I will be heading there are soon as she goes to the hospital and can’t wait to get some adorable just born pictures of mommy and baby to send to his daddy!
I will put up pictures and update as soon as she has the baby!!!

FOCUSED Workshop

Last weekend was such a learning experience! Noemi was kind enough to put together a FOCUSED workshop down in Prior Lake and open up her home to a few of us ladies who wanted to learn more about photography! We started off with some coffee and chatting, then we learned how to use our cameras and finished with 3 shoots in the afternoon. She could not have chosen more beautiful people for us to photograph, made out jobs really easy!
After the workshop it makes me so excited for what’s to come! If anyone is still looking to do Christmas card pictures before the holiday, let me know! The session would still be free of charge and the disc of pictures would be yours to keep! Pass it along to anyone who would be interested!
