It’s amazing how much can change in a year, this was one of the first families I photographed and I was so excited when we scheduled pictures for this year! Gavin is still as adventurous as ever, with such a happy personality and a huge heart, he takes great care of his little sister. Miss Molly, who was just a baby when I was last saw her, is now walking… or should I say running? She can definitely keep up with her big brother 🙂 It was so good to see you all, and I can’t wait until next time!
You may remember Bennett from his 3 month and 6 month sessions, well now he’s 9 months old… AND he’s started to walk! Can you believe it? This little man is just ahead of the game and gets more adorable each time I see him! We ventured out to the Minnetonka Orchard in Minnetrista and it was so awesome, I’m thinking next fall I may have to do some mini-sessions out there! 🙂 Here’s Bennett’s sneak peek, enjoy his cuteness!!
Maeson is such a boy’s boy and tons of fun! We did lots of running around, jumping in leaf piles, playing on the playground and digging holes! He was such a champ and let me take lots of pictures! Thanks again Maeson!!!! 🙂
Melissa and Evan are such easy going people, our previous session were canceled due to the unpredictable Minnesota weather… we had the coldest 2 weeks in October EVER! Finally we lucked out with a beautiful fall afternoon, may have been a smidge windy but it was far better than a snow storm! I had such a great time with Melissa and Evan as we strolled around Excelsior, they are two of the kindest people! I got to hear the story of how Evan proposed to Melissa, and there need to be more romantic men like him in the world. 🙂 Thanks again for being so flexible with all our rescheduling, it was so nice to meet both of you!

They traveled all the way from Milwaukee to visit their nephew Finn and family this past weekend. Thankfully the weather worked out and we got together to do some engagement pictures. We couldn’t have done it without help from Finn’s mom Lisa, Holly and her scoped out the spots for our shoot and they were perfect! Although I think these two could be photographed anywhere and it wouldn’t matter because the love they have for each other just shines. I’m so looking forward to their wedding in August, thanks again Holly and Tom for coming all the way to Minnesota! I can’t wait to see you both again soon!

This family is just beautiful, the love that you feel being around them is indescribable. I’ve known Brittany since high school, I was so excited and honored when she asked if I would take pictures of her family. Natalie was such a great helper, she picked out almost ALL of our spots to take pictures. I think I’ll have to bring her with on my next photo shoot, plus she’s great at making Mom and Dad smile 🙂 And I can’t forget to say a huge THANK YOU to Grandma for coming and making Ryder smile, giggle and just be an extra set of hands! Alright, now on to the fabulous pictures, I just couldn’t decide so there are few more than usual!!! Thanks S Family! 🙂
Finally this past weekend the weather really felt like a Minnesota fall day, I got lucky enough to spend the afternoon with Todd, Melissa and their adorable puppy Gracie! We made our way all around Minneapolis, a little Stone Arch, Nicollet Island, Guthrie and all over downtown! It was my kind of session 🙂 Todd’s mom is quite the photographer, so he was full of amazing ideas which is always fun! Here are just a few 🙂

Rescue Ink Unleashed! 🙂
Last night, as I was laying in bed trying to find something to watch I realized the new episode of Rescue Ink was on. I first fell in love with this show when these muscle bound, very intimidating men were on Ellen. You can’t help but be sucked in when these tough New York men are going around saving innocent animals from their abusers, dog fighting, and unsafe homes. It breaks my heart every episode when you see these poor dogs who were mistreated, I still don’t understand how someone could ever do that to an animal. Thankfully these men are there to provide these animals with food, shelter and in the end new safe homes!
Last night’s was particularly disturbing and heartbreaking, I’ll save you the details but if you’re an animal lover please check out their show. It’s so inspiring! If I had the land I would adopt so many dogs, but until then I will continue to support organizations like Rescue Ink! 🙂
This beauty has been on the blog a few times now, we’ve been struggling with the weather to get her 6 month pictures done! We finally lucked out with a chillier than normal day, but we did it!! 🙂 Her blue eyes are just mesmerizing, don’t you think? Sydney is the lady with a million expressions, I just giggled as I went through her images. Thanks again G family! It’s always good to see you!
