Birth Annoucements

Sydney

Sydney came into the world almost a month ago and she was nothing short of perfection to photograph. She has this gorgeous head of blonde hair and big blue eyes, she showed them off for a good portion of our time too! She did not want to miss out on anything that was going on around us, but luckily with Mom’s help she went to sleep for a little bit. Thanks so much for having me over G family, it was great to meet you. I’m really looking forward to seeing your little princess grow up! 🙂

Sun Flares

If you live in Minnesota you know how the weather can go from 50 degrees to 80 and then back to thunderstorms, it really makes no sense! On Thursday it was absolutely beautiful out, 85 and sunny, a perfect night to play outside and go for a bike ride. Emma and I took advantage of the weather and got outside for a couple of hours. She let me take a few pictures to attempt some different things with my camera, because I really do believe that practice makes perfect. I’m constantly  learning new things about composing shots, using natural light and a new love of sun flares. Hope everyone has a great weekend! 

Great news: Emma learned how to officially ride her bike all by herself! Last week she rode all the way to the park and back without any help, which is HUGE for her! We tried all last summer but her bike was just too small and she wasn’t able to balance, enter new bike and new water bottle… poof she can ride it like a big girl! 🙂 Needless to say it was a week filled with lots of bike riding up and down the street; she goes so fast I can barely keep up with her!

B is for Bennett

Bennett is 3 months old and is one of the most expressive, happy and adorable little boys! Don’t you just want to pinch his cheeks? And his eyes, I just can’t get over how much expression he has in his face 🙂 By the way,  Dad is a huge Liverpool fan, so I couldn’t help but get a picture with his Liverpool onesie! Here’s a little sneak peek, thanks for having me over N family!

New Business Cards!

It’s seriously the little things in life that make me so happy, finding $5 in my jeans pocket, getting the front row parking spot at the mall and today’s happiness: my new business cards with my new logo came!!! It’s like Christmas, I’m so happy about them! They are exactly what I wanted, so of course I wanted to take a couple of pictures and show them off! I have little Will featured on my cards for now, and I’m sure the next batch will feature another one of my amazing clients! Okay, back to editing so I can show off another adorable baby boy!

Jack

You know that expression too cute for words? I’m sitting here absolutely speechless. I went through his pictures and am sitting here saying “Oh my gosh look at that face”, “Those eyes are just beautiful”, and “The ladies are going to be fighting over him when he’s older”.  So I’m thinking you all will have to just see the pictures to understand just how adorable this little man is! Here’s a little look for Mom and Dad, I’ll put some more up later but I just wanted to get a couple up for now! 

Miss P – 3 months

There comes a time in our lives when our friends start to get married and have children of their own, it seems that time has come in my life. A good portion of my friends from high school and college are engaged, married or have started families of their own. I would usually say that Facebook has become such a time sucking vortex and has really set back my productivity, but it’s also a great way to reconnect with old friends. Thanks to Facebook, R and I began talking and I was so excited when she found out she was pregnant; she’s one of those people who I always knew was meant to be a mother and a great one at that. Miss P was born 3 months ago and I got to meet her this past week. She is the spitting image of her mama, she got her good looks and wonderful personality… no doubt about it! Here are some shots from our morning together, she was a very happy baby and couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the day! It was so good to see you R and meet P, thanks for having me over! 

I love her little smile when she was fast asleep. Congrats again R, she’s beautiful!

Miss B – 6 Days Old

Baby B joined our world last week and after going to the hospital to meet her, I had the honor of going to her home to do more photographs for her fabulous parents. She was just the perfect little angel for the entire time! It was really hard for me to narrow down pictures to put up on the blog, there were just so many great ones! I absolutely loved her bright pink blanket and she was wide awake for a good portion of our shoot so it was great to see her beautiful eyes! I also loved how she snuggled up with her hand all the time, seriously too cute! Congratulations again to the whole family on your perfect bundle of joy 🙂

I just got home from Bella’s official newborn shoot and wanted to post this one real quick! I was just starting to edit them and couldn’t help but put this one up! Thanks for having me over Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa! 🙂 I’ll let you know as soon as they are all done!
